mall sketches (part 6)
sometimes people fall asleep on the couches in the center of the mall... and this is cool because i can draw them for a lot longer than if they are awake and moving or getting up and leaving. :)

coast to coast
i had to travel to california for business last month and sketched a bit in dulles airport while i was waiting for our plane to arrive. there was someone famous on our flight - the paparazzi flashes could be seen all the way down the terminal. i don't know who the woman was who was being followed, but it sure caused a ruckus. in any case, the rest of the flight was fairly uneventful aside from some rough turbulence.

SketchCrawl #31.
Tomorrow (April 16th) is the official 31st Worldwide SketchCrawl. Our DC group will be meeting at Eastern Market between 10:30 & 11 am to sketch. Sometime after lunch we (or just those who want to join in) will head over to Nationals Park to sketch the crowd and stadium during the baseball game.
Let's meet at Port City Java, at the north end of the Market, then crawl our way around the market from there.
Follow my twitter feed to keep track of where we are sketching! @BjornEskil
SketchCrawl is also partnering with Give2Asia to benefit Disaster Relief in Japan.

District Taco
After snacking there on a few occasions, I finally to round to sketching the District Taco food cart at the Courthouse Farmer's Market. Frankly the main reason I ever go to that farmer's market is so I have an excuse to get a breakfast taco from them.

Cherry Blossom II
I intended to get out to the cherry blossoms again this weekend but had to run into the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden when the torrents of rain came down. I ended up with a few drawings of some of the sculptures.
