Yesterday I went to see the Nationals play the Rockies. This did not turn out too well for the home team (they lost 7-6), but I still enjoyed being there for the crack of the bat, the half-smoke from Ben's Chili Bowl, and the experience of being in the crowd.
Very nice sketch, great balance of complexity and simplicity. Of course, I'm tempted to ask the usual questions of what size is the original and what mediums did you use?
ReplyDeleteThanks. This one is in a 3.5 x 5.5" sketchbook by the Handbook Journal Co., which I like because it fits in my pocket and can take light washes. I used a fountain pen with Noodler's Polar Black for the lines, a pocket watercolor kit by Sakura, and a cheap white gel pen for highlights.
