This Saturday, DC Sketchers gathered at Mount Pleasant Farmers Market. It was a beautiful morning with lots of shoppers, kids, dogs and musicians.We started our class with blind contours of kale. Observing and recording the interesting linear convolutions tuned our eye and hand. We then translated this observation of line/edge into further observations of the market - allowing our eye to roam the scene and following with the pencil with a continuous, unbroken line.
